The DSO presents music of Danny Elfman at Fisher Center tonight

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will present the music of Danny Elfman’s musical scores for Tim Burton films tonight at the Fisher Center on Woodward tonight.  Included are the scores for Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetjuice, Edward Schissorhands, others.

Two seasons ago, Danny Elfman’s spine tingling scores played to a sold out house.

Join them tonight Sat., October 31 at 8 p.m. at Orchestra Hall. Conducted by multi-talented Ted Sperling, the DSO will be joined by Adrian College Concert Choir  with local boy soprano Bryce Yung who will lend his voice to the scores of Frankweenie, Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow.

The first 50 attendees dressed in their best Halloween or Tim Burton movie-related costumes will get free candy.
